Teaching and Administration

There is adequate technical and administrative support for applied programme. Teaching staff are generally well qualified, and have industrial experience which helps to maintain the industrial relevance of the teaching.

The College has procedures for maintaining and enhancing quality, and there are appropriate staff development opportunities which staffs benefit from.

Staff Development

At Meridian College we recognize how important it is to develop our staff - ultimately we depend on skilled employees at all levels for our continual growth and innovation. Staff Development is one of the key functions.  We, in the Staff Development team, are here to provide a range of services to you as individuals and to the College as a whole.  Our principle services include staff training and development, individual coaching, management support and development, career development and organizational development.  Our focus is supporting the achievement of the College's Mission.

The Meridian College team is committed to refining and strengthening the skills and capabilities of employees at all levels, as part of a wider commitment to ensure College has the overall organizational capability to deliver on its longer term goals. We play a key role in supporting development and training needs, and the continuous development and improvement of staff’s working life at Meridian College whether staff asking us for advice on a training programme, or we consult staff on their perspective of working at the College through our staff surveys.
