Social Programme
Airport TransferStudents can be greeted on arrival at London Heathrow, Gatwick or Stansted airports. They are then taken to their accommodation, (host family, campus or hotel) by our staff. A return transfer is also available. If you require this service please complete the relevant form.
Accommodation
IntranetIntranet facility is also made available for students to gain access for their course materials, regular update, important examination dates and students can even post their comments in the discussion forum. They can access the Intranet either within the college network or anywhere.
ClassroomsThe college have numerous training facilities at their disposal. These classrooms are spacious and well equipped with the latest technology and all the courseware necessary to complete the modules specified in your programme.
Computer LabThe computer laboratories are fully equipped with computer hardware and software. As the field of computing advances, we continually upgrade our computing equipment to help ensure that our students are familiar with the latest technologies available.
Internet AccessAs well as having many other uses, internet is one of the most powerful research tools in existence. All pc’s are connected to the internet using high speed connections. Students are welcome to use the internet free of charge.
Library
Student Common AreaOur student common area is open daily where students can enjoy their break time and relax in a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Meridian College recognises that living and studying in a foreign country can sometimes be stressful, especially at first. Students have access to our Welfare Officer with whom they can discuss any difficulties they may encounter in adapting to life in the United Kingdom. Our aim is to ensure that your stay with us is happy, productive, comfortable and rewarding.
In addition to our academic staff Meridian College provides a student support service that includes: Assistance in Accommodation, Opening a bank account, Registering with a GP (General Practitioner), Help with student visas, Joining local sport and health centres, Welfare Services, etc. Discount Travel / Oyster Cards are available via the College Administrator’s office. Students must satisfy the criteria set down by Transport Trading Limited to qualify. Should any matters arise which need to be resolved, particularly in the area of your studies we will do our utmost to reach a satisfactory conclusion. .jpg)
London is a vibrant capital city with a unique cultural and historical flavour. Alongside our courses and programmes we offer students a varied and exciting range of sightseeing and leisure/social activities across London and major tourist locations in the UK. You can accompany us on tours of London’s greatest attractions; Buckingham Palace, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, etc. Leisure and sports activities include football, tennis, swimming and many more. In the evening you can visit traditional English pubs, cafes, restaurants and clubs or go to one of London’s many theatres. Our Social Activities Organiser will be available to provide you with information and advice.
We do not provide student accommodation on its own; however we do assist students in obtaining a happy, comfortable and welcoming home stay environment where students can study in peace and privacy is an essential part of the service we offer.. We help students find the right type of accommodation, and making the rent contract. The service is provided free of charge to students..jpg)
We place great emphasis on students own research into their chosen field of study and they are encouraged to use the colleges library facilities. The libraries which are continually under redevelopment, have a range of IT, Business, English Language Books etc., which students may borrow. Students are also encouraged to access their local public library for other publications.
